My sister complained of being bored on Facebook and I said “Read a book.” It’s what I was always told, and it cured me of boredom forever. It’s given me other mental problems and has made me moderately antisocial, but never bored! Anyway, also: there is no way to not become your parents when faced with a petulant child.
